The famous wrestler Rob Van Dam says that the backstage fights should have ended up in the ring only. As of now CM Punk is no longer with AEW after that “Terminated for Cause” incident on 1st September 2023. That decision came after CM Punk was found involved in a backstage incident with Jack Perry at All In event.
This is not the first time that CM Punk got physical with his colleagues at the backstage. Punk was suspended earlier by the company in September 2022 when he was found embroiled in a backstage fight with the Elite group.
But Rob Van Dam is very surprised that the news of the suspension of CM Punk is now being listed in the first place. While speaking on his 1-of-a-kind podcast Rob Van Dam explained his surprise with the feud between Punk and Jack Perry for being such big news. As per Rob it usually happened and not that of a big deal to get noticed.
He was so surprised that all the single site was headlining this news at the top. According to Rob for a wrestler, if anything goes wrong between them then the promoter must put both of them in the ring for a match. In wrestling, we need to ignore this kind of incident as a lot of investment is put on the way and the business is to be handled for a better investment.
