Samoa Joe is already claiming that he will advance through the entire matches for a win in the tournament to finish what he has started against the AEW World Champion. As of now Samoa Joe and Jeff Hardy are one of those two stars who have already a storyline history with each other from their old days in TNA and WWE.
The pair last faced each other in 2019 Smackdown which was enjoyed by the wrestling fans a lot. Samoa Joe is always on the side of a charismatic enigma on several occasions and is confident of doing the same as he stands in the way of Jeff Hardy in the tournament as a big mountain.
